      I am "Miss Ann" to the children in my child care. I began my child studies as a teenager caring for a diverse group of children from the neighborhood and from my parents' pool of friends. I continued my child development education in college. After schooling, I began working outside my field of study in a customer care position (that I so dearly loved), but emotionally I could not return to that job once my oldest child was born.

      I realized at that time, what I needed to do to fulfill my educational experiences and personal goals was to run a California State Licensed Small Family Home Child Care Service which was established in November of 1990 (License Number 430756121). I am also a parent to three incredible children. I look forward to the challenges of each new day and will provide for you and your child, a nurturing, loving and safe child care experience connected closely with positive values and an educational experience for life long learning.

      I make every attempt to try to provide a multi-aged child care service as it allows for a unique opportunity to foster and develop language skills, social and emotional skills, cognitive (thinking) skills and fine and gross motor skills. Children learn through play and imitation. But most of all children learn through correct avenues of dealing with other children of varying age. I believe child care is the shaping of a young life. It is not only the teaching of the "ABC's" and "1, 2, and 3's". It is teaching etiquette. It is learning about respect and caring for each other. It is educating in a nurturing and loving environment to produce a happy, healthy and successful individual in the long term. I offer a variety of daily indoor and outdoor activities and field trips to local parks and places of interest to entertain and encourage personal growth in safe age appropriate environment. Facility

*For the privacy of my clients and their children, I have choosen to publish unoccupied images and encourage others to do the same.

Miss Ann’s Home Child Care facility is located close to down town Mountain View in a commercial-residential area near Highways 85 and 101 and Central Expressway, the Mountain View Light Rail and the Cal Train and Bus Station in Mountain View. The facility is a single family home (two bedrooms, one bathroom, a great room and a kitchen about 1000 square feet) built in the 1940’s. It has a fenced backyard with an established play area designed for the child care.

Miss Ann’s Home Child Care is located one block from the intersection of Moffett Boulevard and Central Expressway. It is a great commuter location for parents who use Highway 85, Highway 101, Central Expressway, the Mountain View Light Rail and/or Cal Train and Bus Station in Mountain View.
